GIPA case management and reporting tool
The Office of the Information Commissioner (OIC) has developed a resource to help government agencies manage and report on formal applications received under the Government Information (Public Access) Act (GIPA Act).
The GIPA case management and reporting tool is designed to streamline the way agencies process and report on GIPA applications, both internally and for annual reporting requirements.

1 July 2010 GIPA commencement date – awareness-raising tools for agencies
The Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act) came into effect on 1 July 2010.
The OIC has created the following resources for agencies to ensure all staff are aware of the changes to the right to information system in New South Wales.
